So I'm trying to understand how Attack on Titan (the manga/anime) is something that promotes facism and Nazism (as I'm seeing more of this being said). I've found a few links (that I'll link on here, on my site) but this is kind of concerning because I don't immediately see these parallels. If anything, I see it WAY more in American media but could that be a locality thing?
I found the following:
Every time someone mentions Neon Genesis, I have to actively work against the urge to watch the series all over again because the world does not exist to me when I do, lol.
Holy shit, this is clean! https://twitter.com/YaBoyRoshi/status/1530918486935052288
It's coming back. I think I'm going to buy the existing issues now too.https://twitter.com/Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp/status/1528987173927522304
Ah, ah, ah! No mention of Jujitsu Kaisen 0 on my TL! Lol, give me one more week!
The way this just sent me back to being 8 years old on the couch putting on church clothes but cramming this episode before I dipped for youth service, lol. https://twitter.com/magicalstarlite/status/1503877293839511553
Nah this plot for MHA: World Heroes' Mission is so trash. Like I was hoping it was something else but the villan's quirk ... is such a cop-out.
Bakugo will call Midoriya a โdamn nerdโ but then be in the terminal pulling up schematics for buildings not listed in public civic planning guides. Like c'mon, lol.
I always get a random urge to watch Sword Art Online from the beginning. I don't know what it is about that anime, lol.
I don't know why I expected anything different from the Shield Hero anime with people willingly becoming slaves. HOW is this what I'm watching? Lol
