The Kobo Clara 2E looks nice. I like my little eReader mainly because of how nimble it is (and how focused of a device it is). And it doesn't need to be connected to the Web. More devices like this, please!

So I'm trying to understand how Attack on Titan (the manga/anime) is something that promotes facism and Nazism (as I'm seeing more of this being said). I've found a few links (that I'll link on here, on my site) but this is kind of concerning because I don't immediately see these parallels. If anything, I see it WAY more in American media but could that be a locality thing?

I found the following:

Supporting would be mainly helping to get this thread in front of more eyes. I'm ideally looking for co-ops or places more socially inclined than others (we do live under capitalism). I also think I'll be livestreaming quite a bit more about side projects, so keeping an eye out for that will help too (esp with supporting it).

They say the first month is the hardest; it's not, it's the second one. Sold the second laptop I had on hand. Definitely still open to contract work (more info at https://jacky.wtf/work).

This extends into a lot of other things to me (like the glamorization of luxury as a service in one of the worst housing and health crises in the world). I do think there's a difference between self-care, self-indulgence and active ignorance and these got really blurred as I've gotten older and learned more.

Slightly but not fully inspired by this very solid point.

Making fun of poor people isn't ever funny (and extremely unbecoming). Like leave that for the actually disgusting people in the world - unless you are one, then please stand in line for your turn at the guillotine.

This passively reminds me to look at some of their online archives (like to find local newspapers or articles of Black folk in areas) for some media research; thank you!

In the short time I've been here, they've only slightly better than him (which is representative of America and how Dems move in the US as a whole, tbh). And there's very few. The people here seem more focused on just trying to put out the fires.

Fires, of which (obviously metaphorical) were started by this state's inability to care about anyone who doesn't less than $125,000 and isn't a cishet white man.

My question is looking at other white people in power and why they are standing by and letting this happen? No one opposes this? Where are the Florida Democrats?
