Temtem (at https://crema.gg/games/temtem/) came out today and it's giving me a strong mix of Pokemon, Digimon and Fall Guys, lol. Looks fun!
Now I'm understanding the fundamentals of making an enemy in a platformer game more difficult - increasing their speed, enabling more "senses" (being able to see you from further, blocking when an incoming attack happens at a higher percentage rate).
That's mad high praise! I've been meaning to play this for some time too!
I've come to the point in my game development journey to understand a lot more about a little but also enough to realize that maybe 30% of my working experience is going to translate to this - game development is different in different ways but also very, very fun.
Streamers: what kind of indie games do y'all be looking out for? Like what POPS out? I noticed that games like Cult of the Lamb and Tunic had a LOT of press (and seemingly existing community as well).
Is it me or did @itchio's TLS certs not updated? Unless Firefox is doing some weird pinning with HSTS?
Reading and learning more, I've now understood this (and it echoes of the similar issue in a way for Web software that also has native - its mobile and desktop equivalents). It kind of feels like this could be more of an engine issue (being able to build and test on consoles more quickly). But even thinking on that, it'd make me appreciate things like the Steam Deck even more.
Just had a moment of realization about how people can be stuck in the marketing of the preliminaries phases of wanting to do something and feeling like progress is being made, but I'm just watching other people make progress and I still don't know how or what to do with myself.

Very simple and fun game. I found it a wee bit tricky to figure out what things matched up to each particular meal but I got it on my first go - very rewarding!
Posted on Itch as well.
Really need the concept of a cart or user-defined bulk purchasing on @itchio!
WAIT THERE'S NEW JOJO OUT
Aye, thanks @_jjphillips! Already blew an hour on this thing - it's a bit harder than I expected but that's more time to study it lol
My birthday was in July but if you gifted this for me on Steam, I would shout you out and play with you for a month. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1372110/JoJos_Bizarre_Adventure_AllStar_Battle_R/
Definitely copping this. https://validategame.com/. Looks like it'll be in most places.
