End of year goal: make channels on my site become their own accounts in the fediverse and represent my site as its own instance. I'd be able to control who can follow what that way, keep context collapsing from happening and still post normally. Since my channels are more semantic, I'll need to find a reader that supports manual selection of a post's channel. I think I could shim this into a reader provided the right time.
